Fasco Security Products offers high security pass thru evidence lockers for use in police stations and jails. Police evidence lockers are an important piece of equipment to securely pass evidence from a non-secured area into an evidence room. Police evidence comes in many different shapes and sizes, and the evidence lockers are designed to be versatile. Police evidence lockers can also be custom configured, and modified to fit any type of construction.

Evidence lockers are easy to use. The acting officer simply opens the compartment and puts in the evidence with the proper documentation. Then, the officer pushes the button that operates the latching system. The one way lock cannot be operated from that side of the pass thru evidence locker until the evidence is removed and processed, and unlocked from the evidence room side. The controller releases the internal latch to tag it as an available compartment for use again.

The evidence locker frame and individual compartment doors are constructed of 16-gauge formed steel, with 16-gauge piano hinges. The doors are secured with one way dead bolt locks. Compartment sizes vary, so the police evidence locker can secure items of different sizes. Fasco evidence lockers coordinate with various types of construction and are available in a range of sizes. Also available is the model ELR-770 Refrigerated pass thru evidence locker. This evidence locker operates on the same principal as the standard evidence locker, but is encased in a refrigerated unit to protect the temperature of sensitive evidence. The internal locking compartments are made of stainless steel with removable trays for easy cleaning.
